Calculations for surface area:

Surface area :
The outside part or uppermost layer of pipe

Length of pipe (h)=63cm

Inner diameter (2r)=4cmr=2cm

Outer diameter (2R)=4.4cmR=2.2cm

The surface area of each end =πR2-πr2

=πR+r(R-r)=227(2.2+2)(2.2-2)π=227=2.64cm2
