(b) Outer curved surface area

Given outer radius=R=2.2cm; Inner radius=r=2cm; h=77cm

(a) Inner CSA=S1=2πrh=2×227×2cm×77cm=968cm2

(b) Outer CSA=S2=2πRh=2×227×2.2cm×77cm=1064.8cm2

(c) TSA=S1+S2+area of two bases=S1+S2+2(πR2πr2)

=968cm2+1064.8cm2+2×227{(2.2)222}

={968+1064.8+447×0.84}cm2

=(968+1064.8+5.28)cm2

TSA=2038.08cm2
