The correct option is A 1.99 m
We know that, TSA of cone =πr(r+l)

Now, TSA of cone =227×14×(14+20)
=227×14×34
=1496 cm2

Let, the length of sheet be L.
Breadth of the sheet =10 cm
Total area of the sheet =10×L

Since, 25% of sheet was wasted to make the cone, therefore, actual surface area of sheet used to make cone,

10L25%×10L=1496

10L25100×10L=1496

10L2510L=1496

100L25L10=1496

L=1496×1075

L=199.4cm

L=1.99m
