The correct option is C 113.125 cm2
Volume of cube=(2.5)3=2.5×2.5×2.5=15.625cm3
Now, volume of cube=Volume of cuboid
15.625=1.25×0.25×h
h=15.6251.25×0.25=50cm
Initial surface area=6a2=6×(2.5)2=37.5cm2
TSA of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)=2(1.25×0.25+0.25×50+50×1.25)
=150.625cm2
Increase in surface area=150.62537.5=113.125cm2
