$l = 48 - 2 (8)$ $∵$ Two square formed side
$= 32 m$
$b = 36 - 2 (8)$
$= 20 m$
Also $h = 8 m$ from question
$∴$ Volume $= 32 \times 20 \times 8$
$= 5120 m^{3}$
