Time period $T_1=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l/2}{m}}$ m=mass of stick

when half of stick is cut then,

$T_2=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l/4}{m/2}}$

$T_2=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l/2}{m}}$

$T_1=T_2$

Hence frequency of both cases will be same.

$f_2=f_0$
