Given: A microwave oven was available for $R s . 5301$ after successive discounts of $10$ % and $5$ %.
So, we can write,
$M P (1 - \frac{10}{100}) (1 - \frac{5}{100}) = S P$

$\Rightarrow M P (1 - \frac{1}{10}) (1 - \frac{1}{20}) = S P$

$\Rightarrow M P (\frac{9}{10}) (\frac{19}{20}) = S P$

$\Rightarrow M P = S P \times \frac{10}{9} \times \frac{20}{19} = 5301 \times \frac{10}{9} \times \frac{20}{19} = 31 \times 10 \times 20 = 6200$

So, $M P = R s . 6200$
Hence, the marked price is $R s . 6200$
