Solution

Mixture

In chemistry, when two or more substances are together without having any chemical change, then the final substance is known as a mixture. For example a mixture of salt and water.

Homogeneous mixture

  • A Homogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the constituents that make up the mixture are evenly distributed throughout the mixture and these different components cannot be visually distinguished.
  • In the mixture of salt and water, the different components cannot be visually distinguished because this is an example of a homogeneous mixture.

Therefore, a mixture in which components cannot be seen separately is a homogeneous mixture.
