The correct option is C 0.625 mole of CO
The mixture of CO and CO2 has vapour density (V.D.) 20 at STP.

Total weight of the mixture = 100 g.

Let weight of CO = x g.

Then weight of CO2 will be (100x) g.

We know that Molar mass M.M. = V.D.2

M.M.of the mixture = 40g.

Now, because no of moles(n)= Given mass/M.M.

Thus nCO2=100x44

nmix=10040=2.5

nCO+ nCO2= nmix

x28+(100x)44=2.5

x= 0.625

Hence, (c) is the correct answer.
