Given, Phydrogen = 1 atm, Ptotal = 10 atm

Applying Dalton’s law formula, Ptotal=Phydrogen+Poxygen

Therefore, Poxygen = 9 atm

Now, the mole fraction of oxygen, Xoxygen=PoxygenPtotal=910=0.9

Therefore, the mole fraction of oxygen in the mixture is 0.9.
