A mixture of iron nails, salt, oil, and water can be separated by following steps-
(i) The iron nails were separated by a magnet from the mixture. They can also be handpicked to separate them from the given mixture.
(ii) The oil was removed by decantation, from the mixture.
(iii) The left-over salt and water solution was subjected to evaporation, where the water from the solution is evaporated, leaving behind the salt. Water was later condensed back and collected.
