As we know, potassium carbonate does not decompose on heating. Calcium carbonate decomposes to give CaO and CO2 and loss in weight is equal to the amount of CO2 formed.
Let the weight of mixture =100=100 g.
Loss in weight == Amount of CO2 formed =11=11 g
4444 g CO2 is formed from 100100 g CaCO3
1111 g CO2 is formed from =11×100/44=11×10044 =25=25 g CaCO3
Weight of K2CO3 in the mixture =100−25=75=100−25=75 g
