The correct option is C 2 : 5

$x$ kg of cheaper rice is being added to $y$ kg of costlier rice

$\Rightarrow x+y=1$

The selling price is Rs 3.00 per kg

Profit is 25% which means cost price= $\frac{100}{100+25}\times 3.00=2.4$

But cost price $=2.10x+2.52y$

$2.4=2.10x+2.52(1-x)=2.52-0.42x$

So, $0.12=0.42x$

$x=\frac{0.12}{0.42}=\frac{2}{7}\Rightarrow y=1-x=\frac{5}{7}$

$x:y=\frac{2}{7}:\frac{5}{7}=2:5$
