Length of aeroplane $= 40$ m

Let, The length of model $= l$
Scale = $\frac{M o d e l l e n g t h}{A e r o p l a n e l e n g t h}$
$∴ \frac{1}{400} = \frac{M o d e l l e n g t h}{40}$
Model length $= \frac{40 \times 100}{400}$ cm
Model length $= 10 c m$
