From the figure given in the question, we get,

s(t)=m(t)sin(2πfct+30)

x(t)=m(t)sin(2πfct+30)cos(2πfct)

=m(t)sin(2πfct+30)sin(2πfct+90)

=12m(t)[cos(60)cos(4πfct+120)]

=cos(60)2m(t)m(t)2cos(4πfct+120)

After passing x(t) through LPF, we get,

y(t)=cos(60)2m(t)=m(t)4

If the power of the signal m(t) is Pm, then the power of the signal y(t) can be given as

Py=(14)2 Pm=Pm16=8016W=5W

Given that, Pm=80 W
