Question

A mosquito produces a sound of high pitch. How can we justify this statement.

Solution

Mosquitoes do not produce sound yet we perceive high pitched sound from them because as per our hearing adaptability we perceive sounds that are higher in frequency caused by high vibrations.
In actual, it is not the mosquito whose sound we hear but it is the sound that is caused by the vibrations of their wings.
And higher the frequency of the vibration, higher the pitch of the sound emitted to us.
