A motorist travelled the distance between two towns, which is $65 k m$ , in $2$ hours and $10$ minutes. Find his speed in meter per minute.

Distance between two town = 65 km.
Time taken to travel distance = 2 hours 10 min.
Total time $= 120 + 10 = 130 m i n .$
now
speed of motonist $= \frac{D i s t a n c e}{t i m e}$
$= \frac{65 \times 1000}{130} = 500 m / m i n$
$∴$ Speed of motonist is 500 m/min.
