Cu7 - releases copper ions which suppress sperm motility and the fertilising capacity of sperms. [1 Mark]
LNG20 - hormone releasing IUDs which make the uterus unsuitable for implantation and the cervix hostile to the sperms. [1 Mark]
(b) Advantages of 'Saheli':
It is non-steroidal
Very few side effects
High contraceptive value [1 Mark]
