(A) 1. Most elements found in nature are metals, that usually exist in the solid state. Some examples are iron, copper, and gold. There are some non-metals that exist in the solid state too, like sulphur and carbon.
2. Few elements exist in a liquid state. Examples are mercury and bromine.
3. Few elements exist in a gaseous state too. Some examples are oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen.
(B) Some of the properties of mixtures are:
1.All the components or substances in a mixture retain their original physical properties.
2.The mixture can be separated into its components physically by using some techniques.
