(a) The human circulatory system consists of a muscular four-chambered heart, a network of branching blood vessels and blood. The blood vessels are of three types namely; veins, arteries and capillaries.

Receives deoxygenated blood from veins and pumps it to the right ventricle.	Receives deoxygenated blood and passes it to lungs to remove the carbon dioxide and increase the concentration of oxygen.	Left atrium receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs and passes it to the the left ventricle.	Left ventricle receives the oxygenated blood and passes it to the rest of the body.
