(a) The NAND gate and the NOR gate can be said to be universal gates since combinations of them can be used to accomplish any of the basic operations.
(b) The logic symbol of OR gate is as shown in the figure.
(c) When same input is given to both input terminals of NAND gate, it acts as a NOT gate for the signal. Hence the output is 0.
