the answer is -1.
The reciprocal of 1 is 1 and the reciprocal of -1 is -1. 1 and -1 are the only rational numbers which are their own reciprocals. No other rational number is its own reciprocal.
Here, 1 is a positive integer and -1 is a negative integer.
