The correct option is C 83
Let the number is $10 x + y$
By hypothesis $x + y = 11$ ....(i)
and $(10 x + y) - (10 y + x) = 45$
or $9 (x - y) = 45$
or $x - y = 5$ ....(ii)
Solving equations (i) and (ii) we get
$x = 8, y = 3$
Hence required number = $8 \times 10 + 3 = 83$
