Let, x is be the number and other number reciprocal of 1st.

Arithmetic mean of the two numbers is 1312

Arithmetic mean of these two numbers =(x+1x)2

=x2+12x

Step 2. Put the value of AM in above equation, we get

AM=x2+12x=1312

12x2+12=26x

6x2-13x+6=0

x=32,23

Now,

If x=32,
