A one sick open cylinderical drum has inner radius 28 cm and height 2.1 m. How much water you can store in the drum. Express in litres. ( 1 litre = 1000 cc.)

Hence radius of cylinder=25 cm
height of cylinders , h=2.1 m=210 cm
volume of the cylinder , v = πr2h
= π.(28)(28).210
= 22728.28.210 [using π=227]
= 517440cm3
= 5174401000 liters [ liters =1000cm2]
= 517.440 liters
Hence 517.440 liters of water can be stored in the drum.
