When an opaque card is held over the lower half of a converging lens, in this case the whole image will be seen. For this we have to draw one ray from the top of the image through the center and then draw another ray from the top of the image through the focus of the lens, emerging paraxially on to the real side. These two lines will cross below the axis, and here the image of the top of the object will be, also the image is inverted.
