Open in App
Solution

Given, total number of students = 30

Number of students who like football = 6

Number of students who like cricket = 12

Thus, number of students who like tennis = Total number of students - (Number of students who likes football + Number of students who likes cricket)

= 30 - (6 + 12) = 30 - 18 = 12

The ratio of students who like football to that of tennis

= Number of students who likes footballNumber of students who likes tennis

=612 = 12 = 1:2
