Given:
Total budget = $7.52
Price per balloon = $0.16
Let the extra ballons bought = x

So,
Cost of one balloon × (39 + Extra balloons) = Total budget

0.16 x (39 + x) = 7.52

0.160.16(39 + x)= 7.520.16

(39 + x) = 47
x = 47-39
x = 8

Therefore,
Number of extra balloons = 8
