Work done by 1 painter and 1 artist in $\frac{1}{2}$ day $=(\frac{7}{24}\times \frac{1}{2})=\frac{7}{48}$
Remaining work $=(1-\frac{7}{48})=\frac{41}{48}$
Work done by 1 sculptor in $\frac{1}{2}$ day $=(\frac{1}{24}\times \frac{1}{2})=\frac{1}{48}$
$\therefore$ Number of sculptors required $=(\frac{41}{48}\times 48)=41$
