A pair of dice is thrown 6 times. If getting a total of 9 is considered as a success, what is the probability of getting at least 5 successes ?

as sum=9 is required
which can be obtained in following cases.
3+6=9 4+5=9
6+3=9 5+4=9
So only four cases (3,6),(6,3),(4,5) and (5,4) will result into sucess
p =probability of success.
=436=19
q=1p=119=89
x= no of success
=P(x5)=P(x=5)+P(x=6)
=6C5(19)5(89)+6C6(19)6(89)0
=6×896+1×196

=4996
