Given :

Wavelength of light,

λ=560 nm=560×109 m

Refractive index of oil, μ=1.4

For strong reflection,

2μt=(2n+1)λ2

t=(2n+1)λ4μ

For minimum thickness, n=0.

So,

t=λ4μ

t=560×1094×1.4=107 m=100 nm

Hence, option (A) is the correct answer.
