A parallelogram has sides of 20 cm and 30 cm. If the distance between its shorter sides is 15 cm; find the distance between the longer sides.

Area of a parallelogram =base×height.
The area of the parallelogram remains the same, if we consider any of the base and its corresponding height to calculate it.
Hence, Area of the parallelogram, =20×15=30×height
=>height=10cm
Hence, the distance between the longer parallel sides of length 30cm is 10cm
