The correct option is B 12 sq cm, 12 sq cm
In a quadrilateral when the opposite vertices are joined it forms a diagonal.
When a parallelogram is divided in two triangles by their diagonal, both the triangles are congruent.
So, the area of triangles will be equal and half of the area of area of parallelogram i.e, 12 sq cm.
