Since the path is built inside a square garden
A new square is formed after the path is built
Width of path is $1 m$
So side of new square will be $30 - 1 = 29 m$
Area of the path is $30^{2} - 29^{2} = (30 + 29) (30 - 29) = 59 m^{2}$
