Given: Radius of the circular path= 0.5cm
Magnetic field = 0.5T
Electric field= 100V/m
Solution: For a body to move in a circular path,
centripetal force= electromagnetive force
According to the question,
mv2r=qvB
where, v is the velocity of the electron.
mv=qBr (1)
Also, we know that v=EB
substituting the value of velocity in equation (1) we get,
m=qRB2E
putting the values we get,
m=2×1024
Hence, the correct option is (D).
