R=21m

h=R(1cosθ)

From the 3rd equation of motion,

v2=u2+2gh

v2=2gR(1cosθ). . . . .(1)

From the free body diagram.

mgcosθN=mv2R=2mg(1cosθ). . . . . . .(2)

When contact lost,

N=0

equation (2) becomes

mgcosθ=2mg(1cosθ)

cosθ=22cosθ

3cosθ=2

cosθ=23

2Rh=2RR(1cosθ)

2Rh=2RR(123)=5R3=53×21=35m
