Question

A particle is moving in a circle of radius 4 cm with constant speed of 1 cm/s. Find
(a) time period of the particle
(b) average speed, average velocity and average acceleration in a time interval from t= 0 to t = T/4. here T is the time period of the particle. Give only their magnitudes

Solution

(A)in uniform circular motion acceleration isv2R.here it is 14cm2/sec..that's constant so average same over any time period.

(B) linear acceleration is zero

If you meant radial acceleration, its magnitude is constant:
a×r=v2r
a×r=124=14=0.25cm/s²
The only thing related to acceleration that changes here is direction of vector of radial acceleration.
