The correct option is C 10 m
Let particle be thrown with velocity u and its maximum height is H, then H=u22g.

When particle is at height H2, then its speed is 10 ms
So, from equation,
v2=u22gh(10)2=u22g(H2)=u22g(u24g)
u2=200 m2/s2

Maximum height, H=u22g=2002×10=10 m
