In SHM the KE and PE of particle is given by the following relations:

KE=12mω2(a2x2)

PE=12mω2x2

So, the total energy,

TE=KE+PE

TE=12mω2a2

As, PE = KE (both half). From above equations:

a2x2=x2

2x2=a2

x=a2

x=42

x=22cm
