Question

A particle moves from point P directly towards another point Q which is at a distance of 10cm from P. It then comes to P directly. Calculate: (I) the total distance travelled and (ii) the displacement of the particle.

Total distance =PQ+QPDistance = 10+10 =20 cmAs the particle starts from P and comes back to P,its displacement will be zero
