A particle moves in a semi circular path with a speed of 5m/s. if the radius of the path is 10 m, find average acceleration during the motion.

average acceleration = total displacement/ time = (Diameter)/ (time taken)

d = 2r = 25 =10m, v = 5m/s

time = πr/v

=>t = π5/5 = π s

=> average acceleration = (10/π) m/s^2
