A particle moves in a straight line with constant speed of $4 m / s$ for $2 s,$ then with $6 m / s$ for $3 s .$ The average speed of the particle in the given time interval be $v .$ Find $[v] . ($ where, $[]$ is step integer function $)$

Total time $, T = 2 + 3 = 5 s$
Total distance $, D = 4 \times 2 + 6 \times 3 = 26 m$
Thus, average speed $= D / T = 26 / 5 = 5.2$
