Magnification m=ffu=3030+90=12

(A) Let VI/m be the velocity of image with respect to the mirror and VO/m be the velocity of object with respect to the mirror. Then,
VI/m=m2VO/m=14×4=1 cm/s

(B) The velocity of image with respect to the object is given byVI/O=VIVO=1(4)=5 cm/s

(C) VI/m=m2VO/m
and since the mirror is stationary, so particle and image move towards each other.
Also since speeds are asked in the options we can ignore the minus signs in the final answers.
