Solution

The correct option is A Quantity v×a is constant in time
Given, F=k(vy^i+vx^j)

Fx=kvy^i, Fy=kvx^j

mdvxdt=kvydvxdt=kmvy

Similarly, dvydt=kmvx

dvydvx=vxvyvydvy=vxdvx

v2y=v2x+C

v2yv2x=constant

v×a=(vx^i+vy^j)×km(vy^i+vx^j)

=(v2x^kv2y^k)km=(v2xv2y)km^k= constant

Hence, option (A) is correct.
