General expression for SHM of a particle is given by
x=x0sin(ωt+ϕ)=x0sinωtcosϕ+x0cosωtsinϕx=3cosωt+4sinωt(given)

Comparing we get, x0cosϕ=4 (1)
and x0sinϕ=3 (2)
Dividing (2) by (1), tan ϕ=34 or ϕ=37

Squaring and adding (1) and (2), we get x0=5 units.
