Given,
s1=12m,t1=3s
s2=30+12=42m
t2=3+3=6s
s=ut+12at2
s1=ut1+12at21
12=3×u+12a×32
12=3u+92a ...(i)
Similarly, 42=6u+12a(36) ...(ii)
Solving the Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
a=2m/s2,
u=1m/s
u is initial velocity.
