The correct option is B

37.5 m


Area under the graph of v - t gives displacement

So t = 0 to t = 15

Displacement = Area of both the triangles + area of the square

= 12.5 +12.5 + 25
=50m.


From t = 15 to t = 20

Displacement = (Area of the triangle shown in the diagram) 1/2 x 5 x -5 = -12.5

Net displacement

= 50 - 12.5

s = 37.5m
