The nucleotides, apart from introns, stop and start signals, code for amino acids. A set of three nucleotides constitutes a codon. A combination of four nucleotides and 20 essential amino acids makes a genetic code for 64 different combinations (4 x 4 x 4). Further, there is a tRNA for each of standard 20 amino acids that serve to carry the amino acids from the cell pool to the site of translation. Here, a gene with 600 nucleotides will code for 600/3 = 200 amino acids ( the equal number codon is a triplet). To add 200, an equal number of tRNA molecule will be needed because each mRNA codon is read by specific tRNA anticodon and each tRNA will add one amino acid. Therefore, the correct option is A.
