$=42m$

area of circular park (A) $=22/7\times {42}^2{m}^2$

$=5544/7m^2$

radius of circle including the path and circular park = 42 + 8 m

$=50m$

area of the circle (a) $=22/7\times {50}^2{m}^2$

$=55000/7m^2$

therefore area of the path

$=a-A$

$=5544/7-55000/7m^2$

$=(5544-55000)/7m^2$

$=2313.14286m^2$
