Solution

The correct option is A Kwashiorkor
Kwashiorkor is a protein energy malnutrition that occurs in children of 1 to 5 years of age due to constantly reduced protein intake. Thus, protein rich diet is recommended for these patients. However, in patients suffering from kwashiorkor, protein must be introduced back into the diet gradually. Rickets is caused due to deficiency of calcium and vitamin D. Scurvy is a deficiency disease due to deficiency of vitamin C where as anaemia is due to deficiency of iron which leads to low haemoglobin content.
